I was crushed to find out my wife had been cheating on me and quickly moved to divorce her in spite of the fact that I still loved her very much. Eventually I became receptive to a reconciliation and around that time I think she realized how much she regretted what had happened.
I totally forgave her for what she had done and then watched her actions from that point forward to see if I really wanted to get back with her. I knew, as most men do, exactly what I needed to see, it wasn’t very complicated, but the harder she tried to convince me to take her back the more sure I became that I would not do it.
Has she done the right things I believe we would now be living happily ever after but she never “got” what she needed to do to get me back. Saddens me to this day because I really did love her and wanted to get back with her. But she didn’t know what to do.
